{"id":18459,"date":"2024-10-30T00:02:14","date_gmt":"2024-10-29T22:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blooness.com\/?page_id=18459"},"modified":"2024-10-30T00:02:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-29T22:02:14","slug":"blooness-what","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blooness.com\/en\/blooness-cest-quoi\/","title":{"rendered":"What is Blooness?"},"content":{"rendered":"Blooness is a type of food developed to answer the following question:\r\n<h2 id=\"que-dois-je-manger-pour-vivre-le-plus-longtemps-possible-en-bonne-sante-et-dans-la-forme-la-plus-optimale\">What do I need to eat to live as long, healthy and fit a life as possible?<\/h2>\r\nTo achieve this objective, we have carried out epidemiological, statistical and empirical work, which has enabled us to identify three foundations for the development of this \"optimal\" diet: the Low Carb High Fat diet, the diet of inspiration <a href=\"https:\/\/blooness.com\/en\/la-diete-paleolithique\/\">Paleolithic<\/a>and food consumed in <a href=\"https:\/\/blooness.com\/en\/zones-bleues\/\">Blue Zones<\/a>.\r\n\r\nTo arrive at this conclusion, we first cross-referenced all the ingredients habitually consumed by people living in regions of the globe where life expectancy is at an all-time high, and where rates of diabetes, hypertension, cancer and other diseases of civilization are at their lowest. We noticed certain similarities between the foods eaten by peoples who had nothing in common with each other, apart from their commonality in terms of longevity.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>These healthy centenarians <a href=\"https:\/\/blooness.com\/en\/fer\/\">iron<\/a> have been identified by the scientific community as the inhabitants of the <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Zone_bleue_(long%C3%A9vit%C3%A9)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blue Zones<\/a>\u00b9.<\/strong><\/p>\r\nIn addition to their strong taste for certain ingredients and <a href=\"https:\/\/blooness.com\/en\/regime-mediterraneen-epices-condiments-aromates-liste\/\">spices<\/a> We also noted other similarities between the inhabitants of these different \"blue\" regions. First and foremost, their tendency to prefer natural foodstuffs, i.e. free from industrially-processed products.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This diet is similar to the Paleolithic diet\u00b2, the second pillar of the Blooness diet.<\/strong><\/p>\r\nSecondly, we have noticed that in the feeding of blue zones, the <a href=\"https:\/\/blooness.com\/en\/glucides\/\">carbohydrates<\/a> come mainly from plants. So their diet was mostly free of industrial sugar and rarely made up of starchy foods, but rather rich in fats, particularly polyunsaturated fatty acids. This low-sugar, high-fat way of eating has a name, and is becoming famous among certain enlightened gourmets:\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This is the Low Carb High Fat (LCHF) diet.<\/strong><\/p>\r\nIn conclusion, we have concatenated all this and put together at least one diet that is the synthesis of three great ways of eating:\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>BLOONESS = BLUE ZONES + PALEO + LCHF<\/strong><\/p>\r\nSo we've decided to feed ourselves in this way, and we want to make it possible for others to do the same.\r\n\r\nPlease note that we are not a scientific organization, but simply nutrition enthusiasts.
