On le trouve en grande quantit\u00e9 dans notre corps, notamment dans le liquide interstitiel (c&rsquo;est le liquide situ\u00e9 autour des cellules) et dans le sang. En fait, le sel tel qu&rsquo;on le connait &#8211; le sel de table par exemple &#8211; <strong>contient du sodium<\/strong>. <strong>C&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on appelle le chlorure de sodium<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A titre indicatif, <strong>1g de sel correspond environ \u00e0 400 mg de sodium, soit 40% de sodium.<\/strong>\u00a0Par ailleurs, le corps d\u2019un adulte renferme \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s 100 g de sodium.
